BlueUp partners with Wirepas
BlueUp is pleased to announce its partnership with Wirepas to extend the functionalities of its products, including mesh network and cable-less asset and people localization systems.
BlueUp is one of the pioneers in the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon market, being active since 2014 with the first products based on iBeacon technology. Over the years, BlueUp has specialized in the design and production of BLE beacons and sensors, with focus on IIoT (Industrial IoT) applications: proximity detection, people localization, asset tracking, condition monitoring, access control systems. Currently Blueup has a large portfolio of BLE products (tags, beacons, gateways), able to satisfy the most varied market needs.
Wirepas Mesh provides scalable and cost-effective solution to connect and localize sensors. Its unique low power mesh operation allows to create fully battery-operated networks having years of battery lifetime. Combined with Wirepas Positioning Engine the solution offers an easy to install and scalable location system for a wide range of applications. The solution consists of a fully battery-operated infrastructure for asset tracking and does not require any complex planning or cabling cost. The 5-5-5 solution delivers typical performance of 5 meters accuracy, 5 minutes location interval and 5 years of battery lifetime on the asset tags and on the infrastructure leading to an infrastructure cost of 0.05€/m²/year. The use of Wirepas mesh can also combine Sensors and Actuators allowing to leverage the wireless connectivity for multiple use cases.
