BlueBeacon Forte is a battery-powered Bluetooth Low Energy beacon designed for outdoor. With second-generation firmware version, it simultaneously supports multiple
technologies: iBeacon, Eddystone (full support, with GATT and EID), Quuppa.
BlueBeacon Forte is perfectly suitable for all installations where protection from environmental factors (dust, rain, temperature, solar radiation) is critical: parks,
outdoor installations, industrial sites.
BlueBeacon Forte is powered by one CR123A lithium battery, with extended operating temperature range, easily replaceable by unscrewing the front panel.

iBeacon technology creates a small area of detection for Bluetooth 4.0 enabled mobile devices. BlueBeacon devices uses iBeacon licensed technology, and have been certified by BlueUp to meet
Apple Proximity Beacon Specifications
Eddystone is a protocol specification that defines BLE formats for proximity beacon advertising, with different frame types that may be used
individually or in combinations. BlueBeacon Forte is certified from Google for full support for Eddystone specifications.
The Physical Web is an open approach, developed by Google, to enable quick and seamless web-based interactions with physical objects and locations.
The Physical Web uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) because of its ubiquity on mobile devices, and is based on Eddystone-URL format.
BlueBeacon Forte is compatible with Quuppa Intelligent Locating System, a powerful technology platform for novel location based services and applications. It enables real-time tracking of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
smart tags and devices, with accuracy even down to a few centimeters.
